Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza has announced Brazilian coach, Julio Cesar Leal as the Buccaneer’s new head coach. Leal steps in the shoes of Rudi Kroll who leaves the club after a season that saw Pirates complete a significant trophy-treble that included the PSL championship
This is the beginning of the end of Pirates especially when you get swollen headed.
The next level Irvin is talking about is the first level……to get to any level other than that is sheer impossible when management think that they have a winning formula by bringing in new coaches.
To match the abilities of Fergie of Man United is what Irvin is contemplating….DREAM ON IRVIN, South Africans have a long way to go in soccer or any other sport, players here think that they are the best thing happened since sliced bread…….no commitment, no sense of urgency,no sense of judgement, no sense of wanting.
The habit of changing coaches every time the supporters scream is whats the down fall of the management. SA is lingering on level one, to get anyway above that is a tall order especially for Irvin. He may be the iron Duke, a Dreaming Duke is rather fitting.
He may have the bucs (sis ) I mean bucks……. thats what the problem is……to much money in the pocket always finds its way out of the pocket…….winning the treble doesnt always make Bucs the best team in SA. you have to be on top all ways like Man United to to lure the best players in, right now he is using the wrong LURE and thats changing coaches and this new one is no better than the rest
