Cirque du Soleil is a critically acclaimed Canadian circus that is described as a “dramatic mix of circus arts and street entertainment.” The internationally acclaimed company is in South Africa for the first time to showcase their acts, which feature 30 Olympic athletes and over 50 performers from 50 different countries. Cirque du Soleil is running in Johannesburg at the Coca Cola Dome from 9 to 13 March and at the Grand Arena GrandWest Casino in Cape Town from 23- 27 March 2011.
The cirque du soleil is the most wonderful extravaganza – what an experience. How embarrassing to be in the coke a cola dome….. the seating was appalling – the acoustics terrible…. felt that we could have offered an environment that was reflective of the magnificence of the show.
No one on the flat seats (about 90% of the audience) could see – except the front and second rows…. what bad planning and very dissappointing……
I have family that went and they loved it. unfortunately I couldnt attend
