Jodi Ann Pearton took home the coveted title of Sunday Times Chef of the Year, along with a R50,000 purse which she plans to reduce her homeloan with. Pearton was one of many up and coming chefs whose levels of brilliance in the kitchen, was acknowledged at the 2010 Sunday Times Foodcorp Awards evening, held at the South African Chefs Association Southern Sun Centre for Culinary Excellence in Auckland Park, Johannesburg.
