American singer, songwriter, actor, rapper and dancer Chris Brown toured South Africa as part of his Carpe Diem World Tour.  Apart from performing at the Northgate Dome, he continued onto Durban and Cape Town.

Northgate Dome was prepared to expect a crowd of 19 000 to descend on the venue with 4000 frenzied fans filling the golden circle.  A number of young ladies were so hysterical in anticipation of Chris Brown’s performance that they fainted and had to be removed from the building – so sadly missed their moment of laying eyes on  him and the show, which featured futuristic funky visuals, hydraulic platforms which all took their inspiration from the Ancient South East Asian Dynasties.

Chris Brown at this moment in time is still due to perform at Grand West Arena in Cape Town on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 December.  Tickets available from Computicket are priced from R490 – R890 for Golden Circle.
