JUJU designer has big dreams
Speaking about the upcoming launch of his JUJU label fashion range, designer Obakeng Ramabodu explained to media, that first and foremost he does not profess to know Julius Malema nor does he wish to get involved in politics.
As a young entrepreneur Ramabodu saw an opportunity to capitalize on Malema’s knickname ‘Juju’ and create a fashion range that would appeal to men, women and children locally and internationally. Ramabodu even suggested likening the popularity of his label to Versace and Victoria Beckham fashion houses.
Ramabodu foresees his range becoming available in mainstream retail outlets countrywide, but for now you can visit his website www.jujulabel.co.za to place an order.
Not shy with pricing T-shirts are retailing between R250 – R350-00 with caps costing R200
The JUJU label will be launched nationally from February 11 starting in Limpopo.

Again, the local clothing industry is being sidelined and China wins. We have so many clothing industry workers in Cape Town without work…..

This won’t last long. How can you shape your product line and business model along the lines of something that swings in a tree ? (Malema). Anyway, we chased that monkey away, he is history. This business is a failure, even before it’s out the starting gates.
