SA’s Rhinos are being killed off – time to make a change
Rhino poaching in South Africa has recently reached epidemic levels, with almost 200 of these rare animals already having been slaughtered for their horns this year alone. Having helped raise over R1 million in anti-poaching funds through their listeners, and with the help of fellow radio jocks and celebrities, Jacaranda FM DJ’s Barney Simon and Martin Bester recently traveled to the Pilanesberg to attend a rhino ear notching and micro-chipping exercise. Times LIVE tagged along to learn more about these great animals and what is being done to prevent their deaths.

I agree with the above, and also start a campaign of rude laughter and scoffing at the country whose men are so weak they need to use powdered rhino horn!!

Educate the public that Rhino horn has no medical benefit at all.

This is very wrong and unfair,how could they do such a bad thing like this,leaving a baby rhino behind troumatised with no mother.
