360 employees had to be evacuated and the N1 Golden Highway offramp closed following a gas leak at a Amalgamated Beverage Industries depot. The leak was caused after construction workers accidentally struck an underground Sasol gas pipe. Paramedics and fire fighters were called to the scene, but no major injuries were reported.
