Pupils angry with Jub Jub

Please be patient while the player loads...

Thousands of school mates of the four boys killed in a drag racing accident involving rapper Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye and Themba Tshabalala, gathered at the Protea Magistrate Court where the two appeared. Their next appearance will be March 17.

My heart goes out to the families that have lost their children. I stay where the accident took place, quit frankly everyone drives rough. People not only Jubjub are speeding in SA roads. It was unfortunate for him, i hope other celebs learn from this foolish act. The law must take its cause. But at the end God is THE JUDGE.

14 March 2010

Mxhosa

It is to be noted that RSA drivers (not all) have absolutely lost respect for, among other, pedestrians, horse carts, cyclists and other road users. “JUB JUB” is but one of those who happened to take the flack. I am calling on all these people who think that they are driving the best cars to just change this stinking attitude and behaviour for the sake of innocent lives in SA.
Respect the laws of our roads and those of the country!
Stop thinking that when you abuse alcohol and substance you are the best thing happening!
You are just the bad animal for our children and you deserve nothing else, but hell!

This JUB JUB must rot in jail! this money that makes him mad like he is, is coming from South African society.

I hope all other crazy drivers will talk to their consciences and stop this crazy behavior

Simphiwe

As much as the public is able to call our president by names and forget that the were other people who should also be questioned, why should we give Jub Jub a special treatment? Jub Jub is a public figure and now hw should pay for his misbehaviour “a parent punishes the child he loves” this should be translated to “the law punishes the ones who are capable of doing what is right”

15 March 2010

smaah

i dnt blv uuuuuu jst said dat 5 kids are dead u think we bein unfair 2 jub jub

Yes we all know that he didn’t mean to kill but he must pay for his action, lucky him he managed to see what the future has for him, pity for those boys they won’t be IT Technicians as some of them wished to be.

12 March 2010

Simphiwe

Let’s be fair, Jub Jub should only be given a chance if he can bring back the lives of the kids he took. Let the law take it decision but the law would have failed if Jub Jub gets a sentence that is less than a decade.

12 March 2010

Bruce

As much as THEY never meant to kill anyone,THEY took alcohol & drugs knowing very well that they’d be HIGHLY INTOXICATED,then they drove their “toys” at very high speeds on a public road buzzing with schoolchildren.Too many SA celebs and drivers in general have been getting away with murder on our roads and its high time the law made an example of these murderers, unfortunately these 2 fools will be the first.
Would you give someone a chance if they murdered your child, let alone 4 kids?
May their innocent souls rest in peace.

17 March 2010

sfiso

he meant it when he decided to get drunk and high on cocaine and then decided to be on the wheel – what does dont drink and drive mean to you.

18 March 2010

Abongwe, are you mad like jub-jub and his stupid friend, there is a say that i usually hear from the radio everyday:THINK BEFORE YOU GET TO THE CAR/WHEAL,every time i drive the message from SAB always comes across my mind.1-u can’t overtake on a one lane.2-speeding in that road is very impossible as i know that street since my fiance stays not far from that sreet.3-it shows that they were both drunk and not thinking with their blank minds,i don’t care if it was alcohol or drugs.4-the fact is they were under the influence.5-and wena ABONGWE and the others dont come and defend this two IDIOTS.this innocent kids will never be replaced again.may the law make a good decision by keeping them in jail and throw away the cell keys for life life sentence.

our anger, hatred , revenge and unforgiveness will not bring this boys back but it will steal our joy for ever. may gods will be done.god will is not our will,he does not think like us infect he loves us all no matter our sins or our mistakes. if jub jub ask god to forgive him now i am tellin you god forgive him and forget what he has done, iwhen god forgive him our anger and hatred and unforgiveness are for nothing infect make the devil happy because the three come from him.

we have to chose now who do we serve between god and satan or life and dead as the bible say, do we chose forgivenes, love, kindness and peace which are from god or do we chose unforgiveness, hatred, revenge and long surfaring whick are from the devil

i chose god and pray for the parent of the boys, parent of jub jub and his friend and more i pray for jub jub and his friend as they go through this punishment they must put therir hope in god, not to win the case but to give them a second chance in life, to give their lifes to god

god bless you and heal your broken heart

we can play the blame game as long as we want, fact of the matter is celebrity or not our communities are not safe for everyone, government should put mechanisms in place to ensure unfortunate situations as such do not happen however the youth should persist on puting pressure so that the justice system takes its course instead of idolising certain individuals because of their material possesions or how they continualy insult people that do not agree with them on certain matters,ie[juju]

I am highly dissapointed at what Jub Jub and those guys did they killed their very own fans who would normally support their music, the youth. Artist that act irresponcibilly should be convicted and be punished for thier irresponcible behaivour , Jub Jub was really exposed he really prooved to us the kind of person he really is behind the camera , lives have been destryed , family’s have been hurt deeply he really had it coming nothing can justify what he did . I really hope that he comes to a perfect rememberance of what he did and that his soul will not have rest untill he understands the depth and the damage that he has caused all in the name of drag racing. This really does make me to lose the respect that i have for celebritys he has given the music industry a very bad name and has tarnished his own reputation that will take years to repair.

guys for a sec jus put yourselves in both jub jub and his friend’s shoes and just feel what they feeling. i know they acted irrisponsibly but can we forgive them.. people have done far worse things in life and got away with it without us knowing, so dont judge jub jub coz of his status but his actions.

15 March 2010

Jason

@ Dini Sorry but I don’t agree with you. They were drunk and allegedly on something. They were racing through the streets of Soweto in the afternoon, when kids are walking home from school. They were irresponsible and they should be taken to task for their actions! Forgive them or not, those four youngsters are gone and now their families have to deal with the loss!

15 March 2010

we all make mistakes so there is no need 4 this behaver cause yoll not acting any better than him so just let the law take its cause. im sure he feels bad enough

This is a revalation in the act of stupidity.no one is above the law, so plz let us not judge but reconsile, let it b God’s will.i can say i’m not disappointed but i say why can’t we expect bad from people we love.we all make mistakes and the good we get out of it,is that we learn from them.May God b with the families of those children and jub-jub 2. this is a salvation 2 many. No matter how hard he tries 4 that appeal of bail. He suppose 2 rotte in prison 4 wat he has done to those innocent lyfs. Even worse nothing can bring back those lyfs of the deseased, from what I read his friend “Tshabalala are living in Dipkloof driving fancy cars to desent job” doesn’t that scares you of these people are linked to “some” drug scheme?…Jst an angry mad man’s comment & don’t feel any pity for Jub jub & his friend. NO BAIL FOR THEM.

17 March 2010

Nomz

Food for thought…

South Africans should stop making irrational decisions/assumption and action and later regret…

South Africans plz… freedom of expression is gud but consider that we have our justice system which i dont even trust… yet the law and justice will have to do what ever they have do…

Oh bantu my heart bleeds for the loss of our future generation… not only celebs but youth and all junkies/addicts should learn from this…

However, put yourself in the shoes of the family of the pupils who lost their lives… same applies to Jub Jub’s shoes, his parents and family… what if it was me or you what would we do?

What if he was drugged… may be a plot against him… his carreer was going sky high may be someone was not happy about that so they planned it…

Shalome

18 March 2010

zethu

drugged by who, you are the one who seemingly is irrational. druged by what.

the family that jub jub comes from is known for being selfish and indifferent to how they treat people. there are consequnces to our actions, jub jub and others like him think they are foemidable, they can do whatever they like, and still reap good things.

why do you think he could not finish survivor, because he is an addict, when asked where the charity money would go he said his mother’s school, we all know that it was shut down to to its ilegality, when asked where the school is because it was shut down he says its in a secret location,

jub jub and his family dont care about you or anyone because even as we speak he has turned against his friend, saying he was the one in the wrong and that he was fabricated.

18 March 2010

Good People are you all aware that if this case trial for 3-6 months all this kids who are protesting will have lost all the education they deserve, do you think that it is a good thing for them to be in court protesting, we all know that the LAW will take its cause here, i think it is better for GP Premier to put her foot down and tell all the principals who are letting the kids attend the trial and miss valuable lessons at schools, should the kids perform poor he or she must be fired, this is totally an embarasment to our BLACK society, we know that we have lost 4 school kids but this does not mean they should skip lessons and now both Family members of the Victims are angry that Malema went to visit the accused instead of visiting them, what if malema went there just to get Jubs side of the story and he will then visit the victims families after as we all know that they are under a lot Pains, Stress and Trauma, Jub and his friend are not inhuman and this could happen to anyone and i am starting to feel for the Accused parties

18 March 2010

Rabotoko

These guys should recieve a huge penalty which is life in jail, the law should make an example out of these guys, nomatter the verdict the parents have lost their loved ones, let the law show some level of sympathy

19 March 2010

Philani@Umlazi

I feel sorry for the famalies of the victims, may God be with them and let the souls of those children rest in peace….!This case is very complicated and it should be investigated by specialist in investigation procedures because if you can look at this case lots of witnesses are angry we can’t be sure that the info. that they provide is real true.

I feel sorry for Jub Jub and his friend because lots of youth(incl. celebs) did what Jub Jub did( using drugs, speeding in township roads, etc.) even though it was unfortunate for these guys to kill these kids and according to my point of view all poeple must be equal when it comes to law, meaning all people who do what is against the law must be punished, not by fining him/her,he must stay in jail!

Even Malema supposed to stay in jail for his deed( driving while he was drunk), Mandoza, Dj Sbu,and all of those who do wrong things that are against the law, especial in roads!!!

19 March 2010

Arafat

Jub Jub and Themba are not inhuman. They didnt go out to murder anyone. But according to the third definition of “Intent”, aligned to their murder charge, when they consumed alcohol and narcotics; and went on to be behind the wheel, they knew they were doing wrong and now that wrong has resulted in the murder of 4 boys. Verdict: Guilty and they should serve their time in jail.

But that sentence should not be perpertrated by school kids. I actually dont see why they should miss school and loiter in the premises of court. They should be honouring those unfortunate boys by passing and living those boys dreams of becoming technitians and engineers. This lawlessness around court processes was precedented by our President. His silence around the kids’ shenanigans leaves much to be desired. Come on JZ, put a word forward. We need these kids in class.

19 March 2010

Mduduzi

this one goes to evryone who feels sorry for the so called marshmellow jub jub
i also understand it was an accident but such kind of an accident can be
classified as intentional one, drag racing under the influence of alcohol and drugs in one way knowing exactly that student use as their way home or school anything
can happen. even worse he does’nt even show rermose all he cares about is his ego and his
unborn child what the parents who lost their children so painful. south africa unite and
fight for what is not safe for you, your child, your neighbour and everyone else around you.

23 March 2010

Ziphoh

Jub jub obviously didnt mean to kill those children. Yes, him nd his friend were wrong in racing on the open road especially under the influence. My heart also goes out to the families of the children. Jub jub and his friend should at least stay in jail for a few years so it can be a lesson then release them. Getting bail just like that isnt fair. And whats the point, cause people are after them, Jub jub mainly since he’s in the lime light unfortunately. For how long is he going to be in hiding? He sure as hell aint gonna be able to skip the country lol, that woudnt be right. Might as well stay in jail as i think it would be the safest place for him and his friend. He’s ruined now anyway. Sengdabukela abazali.. So sad..

I think what should be enthusiast here is that our township streets are not race courses. There are few race courses in the country,to mention one is Phakisa in Welkom (Free State).Townships are meant for residential purpose not racing and I believe celebrity or no celebrity Jub Jub suppose to know better as a driver if he acquired his drivers license properly, that in the township you don’t have to speed your car.Let the police investigate thoroughly about what really happened on that day and the law must take its course. These also goes to the police who used to speed up their pick-ups in townships to impress people not attending to complaints.
