Local Organising Committee Chairman Irvin Khoza has disputed reports made in weekend newspapers that he was trying to oust the newly appointed South African Football Association leadership. Meanwhile Safa President Kirsten Nematandani has distanced the football body from the information leaked to the newspapers.

Y-do-i-care?
i think the ANCYL must have had a point by questioning the media’s intent in some cases. It’’s an undeniable fact that the media is a commercial industry which can also be tempted to compromose ethics inorder to maximise profit.
Who should we believe? At what cost will a story be published?
I think the line between tabloid and news is becoming very faint.
