Why Zuma is always doing funny things?

12 February 2010

Modise

My man Thando, I asked myself the same question: “Why does J Zuma keep doing funny things?”

Now, I am a cospiracy theorist and I came to the conclusion that there are bigger conspiracy at play here and J Zuma is the perfect leading character because he is super flawed… See, the way I figured it, is that it is not coincidental that these specific gentlemen Mathews Phosa, Tokyo Sexwale, and Mbazima Shilowa are relentless in their quest to be at the healm of SA politics. The question is, who is benefiting from all of these Zuma blunderes because the ANC voter/support truly cares less about Zuma the babymaker OR Zuma the friend of a corrupt Shaik OR Zuma the polygamist, I can go on & on…

Zuma and his blunderes are a perfect mix for those who have ambitions to be at the top. I want to allege that Zuma’s blunderes are deliberately presented in a bad light because ambitious forces like that way – it is as per a perfect plan – because the fall of Zuma will be quaranteed and it will open up a perfect space for new blood. That new blood will either be Mathews Phosa OR Tokyo Sexwale – and Mbazima Shilowa disqualified himself by opting to wage his presidential abitions war outside the ANC.

NOW, Sexwale is master when it comes to wooing and spinning the media to score a few politcal points – like the sleepover Diepsloot stunt he pulled… He knew that that will score him big with the core ANC voter support…

I am accusing anyone of doing anything fowl. All I am saying is, there is a bag full of Zuma blunderes that is yet to be delivered in a deliberate bad light. The question is, is it Tokyo or Mathews who are going to benefit from Zuma’s fall OR what???

Watch this one…

12 February 2010

Modise

(Corrected spelling)

Thando, I asked myself the same question: “Why does Mr J Zuma keep doing these funny things?”

Now, I am a conspiracy theorist.

I came to the conclusion that there is a bigger conspiracy at play here. Jacob Zuma is a perfect leading character because he is super flawed… I figure, it is not coincidental that these specific politicians Mathews Phosa, Tokyo Sexwale, and Mbazima Shilowa have been relentless in their quest to be at the helm of SA government – i.e. be the president of RSA. Age is on their side, what is wrong with that – you ask??? But the question is, who is benefiting from all these Zuma blunders because the ANC voter support truly cares less about Zuma the baby-maker OR Zuma the friend of a corrupt Shaik OR Zuma the polygamist, etc, etc, etc, I can go on & on…

Zuma and his blunders are a perfect mix for those who have had ambitions to be at the top for a little while now. Zuma’s relevance & usefulness to the “new” ANC has been the fact that he bravely stood against & ousted the all mighty Thabo Mbeki – non of the “new” ANC crop could do that. I want to allege that Zuma’s blunders are deliberately presented in a terribly bad light because ambitious forces like it just that way (what a perfect plan…) – because the ultimate down fall of Zuma is eminent – it’s a matter of time now. Zuma’s fall is a 100% guaranteed ride to the top (but for who – you ask???) and it will open up a perfect space for new blood (again who – I still hear you asking???). Well, that new blood will either be Mathews Phosa or Tokyo Sexwale – since Mbazima Shilowa disqualified himself by opting to wage his presidential ambitions war outside the ANC.

Someone in the ANC in Mpumalanga alleges that Mathews is paying journalists to write crass stories about the Mpumalanga administration – in fact Mathews has taken an issue with the allegation & he (as a top lawyer himself) has instituted a defamation legal suit against his comrade… Viva the “new” ANC…

NOW, there is smoke bellowing, signaling fire right there… I am watching this one with hawk interest because it will prove a lot of things.

ALSO Sexwale, the master when it comes to wooing and spinning the media to score a few political points, has been busy doing passive campaigning – like that sleepover Diepsloot stunt he pulled… He knew that that will score him big with the core ANC voter support…

I not am accusing anyone fowl play, yet!!! NOT YET at least…

All that I am saying is that brace your selves people, there is a reserve bag full of Zuma blunders… This bag is yet to be unleashed & delivered in a deliberately bad light, perhaps with a bit of a vooma punch next time – like bigger headlines etc, etc, etc.

The question is: Is it Tokyo??? OR Is it Mathews???
Who will be benefiting from Zuma’s fall???

Can you see a succession battle here??? Because I do!!! And this is what it is…

Its the “new” ANC way… The CAPITALIST bling and sumptuousness seeking “new” ANC!!!

I pray that RSA not be another version of Nigeria

Dear Sbu

I do not know why you would attack the media and blame them for our president’s irresponsible behaviour. It disgusting that we have people condoning what the president does and hide behind the fact that ” it’s his private life”. Well let me fill you in, the president does not have a private life. His life will always be of public interest. We voted for him and put him in power, it will therefore be ignorant of us to turn a blind eye in what he does and how he conducts himself, privately or not. We are a nation raising children to look up and respect our president as the first citizen. It is sickening to see this kind of behaviour from the president. What about HIV/AIDS? What about his wives? He is married to three beautiful women, for pete’s sake What message is he sending to the men of this country? C’mon!!
Unfortunately as citizens of this country we will always be interested in the president’s life and I applaud the media for keeping us in the light. We don’t just wanna know the good..we want to know everything. It’s within our rights. The office the president holds is public office, not private…That’s unfortunate!!

If u cant stand the heat baba, imagine if ur pastor told u bout *** out of wedlock but still has an affair with ur friend, that hipocracy, well that is zuma.he is trying to lead a nation that is m,rally bankrupt but he himself has no vision of where he sees SA morally, then why did he step into the kitchen?,hei is not leading ,he just has a job,for a president we need a leader. The media is good for people to make informed decision,I need to know what my supposed to be leader is doing, they may have an agenda, but who does’nt?

What is all this bullshit! This is impossible. That is his life.As far as he delivers in his job, what he is doiing in his bed room is his exclusive business. This is hypocrisy run riot.Totally an African. He fathered a child. That is a blessing, for those who read the right version of the Bible.Leave Zuma alone. Please, try to grow out of this dark age morality. At least do not try to impose on us.

Get things in perspective. It is not even about Zulu culture or not.Sure, Zulus do not have hang up on it.But it is something universal.Take Tiger or Clinton, ….you can do your reserarch from Australia to Latin America- It is the offspring of the happy union of sexual prowess and power. A latest quote form Angelina – fidelity is overrrated. There is nothing as unnatural and forced as monogamy. It is recent in history, coming with the fossilization of christianity.

It is difficult to get somebody understand something, when his salary depends on not understanding it.

Nqa

Honestly speaking the only concerns the country should have is the evidence of Pres. Zuma not using a condom which shows hypocricy regarding his anti – HIV/AIDS campaign and the country having to support more wives and children. The law of the country recognises indigenous african law as part of the legal system. Zuma practising polygamy is a part of his culture and traditions which is not illegal in this country of ours. As much as it is within your rights to be kept in the light it is also well within his rights to conduct his life as he sees fit as long as its within the constitution of the country. The question of adultery everyone has, being a man who practises polgamy how is one expected to marry without having a relationship with the prospective partner? We hear people throwing paedophile at the president, the definition of a paedophile in my books or any dictionary for that matter is a man who is sexually attracted to children, I would like to be reminded about the day a 39 year old woman became a child.
South Africans should rather change their tune and sing something along the lines of the State supporting one wife instead of the dozen and seemingly evergrowing brood, Mr Pres, leading by example is the best form of leadership with regards to the devastating pandemic (hiv/aids).

I say Mr Pres, do what you will but spare our country’s money and lives.

7 February 2010

Tshotsho

South Africans are you prepared to sit and watch our country being corrupted, ridiculed internationally and abused by people who hide behind culture? What the president is doing is a disgrace and I’m ashamed to be led by him, unfortunately I can’t change the ANC chice. If anybody wants to practice the culture we need him to follow it properly, not abuse women, make illegitimate children and tell us about it.As an African woman who understands how polygammy is practiced, the president cannot sleep around, spread sexually transmitted infections including Herpes and HIV and tellus it’s culture.A man is suppose to see the woman, talk (not sleep ) with the woman, advise his family of his intentions and then the 2 families start the negotiations.

How can you condone such a behaviour? from a HIV positive woman without condom to all these disgraceful acts,it’s time we recall our president. We have a duty to educate our children, brothers and sisters and yet JZ has a right to do as he pleases, private life, that’s what you call this behaviour? Our country is struggling economically, yet JZ can take our resiurces and do as he pleases,PAY 4 DAMAGES,YHE RIGHT.Why do we have HIV policy?why do nurses and all those who care about the spread of this uncurable disease waste their time to educate, why do we have AIDS council of which Zuma served on?

10 February 2010

phetogo

I agree with the hipocracy part, but you have to admit gore the way SA is going in fact the whole of africa is at the moment in terms of how we treat women and children,HIV is leasding us into a society that we do not like.He cannot do whatever he likes because he should be better than that,he cant be perfect, but he has to take into consideration that we have a youth that is directionless,we have a generation of men that makes me ashamed to be a man today because there are no leaders,we should be better than this,we should ourselves to a higher standard thatn this.It is not just about his pleasures,he should make watch with envy polygamy actually helping societies problems,I do not have a problem with it,I have a problem with people using african practices for thier own selfish acts or to justify thier foolish acts.

African culture was used for a reason there was a reason for polygamy/ circumsition, traditional dances ,they had a role in the cohesion of society or identity, today we face diffrent chalenges, our culture should to solve those problems.HIV is going to destry us ,unless we decide to stop defending people because they are our father, breothers, comrades or because we voted for them, even today if my father does something wrong we discuss it,because his decisions will not only affect him,but the rest of the the family, unfortunatley Zuma is our father. He is doing alot of good things I must admit ,but this for me is a deal breaker

Its bad. We are in a country where HIV Aids is rife but the the person who suppose to be driving prevention is the one engaging in adultry let alone the numner of women he has.

People mustnrt forget that it the same person that adimitted not using a condom in a HIV individual when he was alleged or rape not so long.

I mean we need to be seoroius, Zuma ha disgraced the Agrican people babdly. He really needs to be recalled and put a person that would fit in those shoes in moving foward.

Nqa sleeping around with anybody whilst you are married is not polygamy and the press/ordinary concerned citizens are not critisizing polygamy, and as a African it not our tradition to sleep around moreover to impregnate a woman you are not married to.Inhlawulo/damage is put on place as a deterrent not as a permit of some sort that you can impregnate somebody because you’ll be able to pay it.JZ knows that he has broken the custom that is why he is forced to apologies.Lets love JZ but lets not defend the undefendable nad claim our African costums allows such illbehaviour. With love you praise a person and with love you reprimand a person qha.

Tshotsho

Zuma’s behaviour is beyond description,he is a disgrace to the Zulu nation,to the country and in the eyes of God.He is promiscuous, that’s it, no other difinition. His umshini is a trouble as he cannot be satisfied by 3 women he has married.During the campaigns, whilst our mothers.brothers and sisters were wearing t-shirts bearing his name he was very busy abusing his umshini and wasting the ANC resources impregnating this woman,Be faithful,2nd greatest teaching of the HIV campaign,Condomise–can I say more?
Many areas in our country have no antiretrovirals,no basic human needs like water but the president is busy spreading promiscuity.Lead by example? I hope he will learn from this

Sbu,please stop abusing media and apartheid, are you that white washed that you must always look for other people to blame for Zuma’s stupid acts?

7 February 2010

TimonandPumba

Tshotsho i will tell you what is beyond description….it is the atittude of the likes of you. What is happening here is that Zuma’s conduct is a reflection of our society! Now that we are looking at ourselves in the mirror we DO NOT LIKE WHAT WE ARE SEEING! Therefore instead of riding on a high horse and becoming self appointed judges let us look at ourselves first and fix US. JZ is merely a reflection of our society, i.e. how men are living, how women are living, our behavoiur etc. lOOK INTO YOUR OWN FAMILY AND TELL ME HOW MANY MEN IN YOUR FAMILY ARE HAVING BABIES OUT OF WEDLOCK AND WHILE YOU ARE AT IT, GO BACK THREE GENERATIONS AND TELL ME WHAT YOU SEE. LET US STOP WASTING ENERGY JUDGING JZ OR THE LADIES THAT ARE MAKING BABIES WITH HIM. MIND YOU THESE WOMEN ARE ALL GROWN UP WOMEN OVER 35 YEARS WHO ARE INTELLIGENT! AND THEY ARE CHOOSING TO BE IN A POLYGAMIST RELATIONSHIP, IT IS THEIR CHOICE! NOW WHAT SOCIETY NEEDS TO DO IS TO LOOK AT THIS (THIS REFLECTION OF US) AND SEE IF WE WANT TO CONTINUE TO LIVE THE WAY WE ARE LIVING, IF WE DO THEN LIVE AND LET LIVE, HOWEVER IF WE ARE NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT, LET US CHANGE INDIVIDUALLY. JUDGING, BLAMING IS NOT GOING TO SOLVE ANTHING!! JZ IS REPRESENTING ABOUT 70% OF STATE OF CONSCIOUSNESS OF BLACK MEN AND HIS WIVES REPRESENT 90% OF THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF BLACK WOMEN. THIS A WAY OF NATURE SHOWING US OUR COLLECTIVE STATE OF MIND.

Unfortunately for you Tshepo, President JG Zuma is my property and he is your property!!! In more simple terms, he survives on my 14% VAT levied on my daily loaf of bread. On the other hand, you (Tshepo) are a civilian and you have to fend for yourself – in other words & simply put, you do not survive on my 14% VAT

Big difference.

Yekiso

I personally am not suprised by this infidelity that Zuma is showing to us. I never liked the guy even before he made it to polokwane, He clearly has no respect for women and I wonder as to how he really “manages 3 wives”. As pres. He is the 1st citizen and his actions have a great impact on our children and society in general. I dont believe that as Pres. he has the same honour as our former Pres. due to his BULL mentality. I cant even allow my kids to name him their role model, I rather have them name FW de Clerk as a role model. Zuma is taking advantage of state resources.

I propose a motion of No Confidence on Zuma from the state

8 February 2010

Xoli Mthembu

It’s a shame that Zuma has the time to be sleeping around even when he has 3 wives (soon to be 4) to sleep with. What is wrong with this man? He has no discipline, period. And then he lies to the Home Affairs that he is married to this Sonono woman? That is lying on forms in order to propagate erroneous data i.e. equivalent to perjury. In a trully democratic nation he’d be impeached just for that. Forget the philandering, this man, our president lied to the authorities. What does Shikota, Helen Zille, Vavi etc have to say about that?

Can Zuma allow his wives to “taken on” another husband? If not, then he should stop this so-called cultural dehumanisation of our beautiful African women. Stop it!

Why is mr JZ still de president? I mean people listen to his excuses everytime he commits himself into anada low low scandal, even my 8yr old can come up with something more sounding.

Because we elected him and up until we people who elected him decide otherwise he will remain ouir president and yours too. The beggest problem with people like you is pointing at one person with one finger whereas the other three are pointing back at you. A word of advice, judge yourself first because judging others. Only a person who doesn’t have not even a single sin is legible to judge others. Remember one can sin in many ways, even by mere thinking or wishing wrong. So my friend watch out before making any comment or judgement about other people, because you are not God neither are you pure.

Reggie Radebe

I respect every party’s comments on this shameful charade of our President but for Cope to revive their political ambitions by making a meal out of this issue is way out of line.

This is not a matter of cheap political scoring but national issues which affect every sphere of our society and need to be address sensitively because every nation projects hopes and aspirations to its first citizen in this case is Zuma.

Just a warning to cope, lot of people can easily follow the footsteps of Zuma by not heeding the call of using condoms especially to our fellow country man in Zululand who follow Zuma blindly.

HIV/AIDS is the national crisis and has taken lots of lives who were not willing to heed the call of using condoms and being unfaithful. I am not protecting Zuma and still condemn his unbecoming behavior and therefore should be treated with extra conscious because of issues that might come into the fore and spark serious misjudgment in some sectors of our society.

Perhaps Zuma is a good example that HIV and AIDS is not transmitted through sexual intercourse. What suprises me is that all the ladies he sleeps with, why are they not worried about contact AIDS especially after the rape trial. What does it mean to them for God’s sake the ladies are educated. This shows that there is something that we are missing and rush to judging.

At least he own up unlike Shilowa who denied to have fathered his children and had to be forced by the court that he is the father. On top of that he was unable to maintain them despite the fact that he was earning a lot of money. Again the court had to force him to maintain his children who were leaving in Hillbrow that is how cruel and heartless he is. Many children are street kids because of fathers like him. The ANCYL had to maintain his children on his behalf.

IN FACT THERE ARE SO MANY DISGUSTING PEOPLE OUT THERE, LETS NOT BE FOOLED AND ALLOW PEOPLE TO HIDE BEHIND ZUMA. WE KNOW THEM ALL………………….

DAUDI MWENDA

South Africa President Jacob Zuma is in the news again for the same old reasons..girl trouble. His Excellency impregnated the daughter of his close friend Irvin Khoza who has since borne his child making it is 20th official child from five wives and still counting! Reports indicate that Khoza is distraught and deeply traumatized by this betrayal from a personal friend six (6) years his senior. Zuma’s actions and behavior have now clearly moved from the realm of private morality into the public and we must now ask whether an elected President has the right to move around the country behaving like a bull in a pen and impregnating every pretty belle in sight!

A President in any country is a very powerful figure. If a President opts to misuse the power, privilege, veneration and esteem that citizens bestow on the person and office of President then such person can cause untold misery to the people. Instead of moving SA confidently into the 21st Century Zuma appears intent/hell bent into taking them back to the dark ages of the Mobutu’s, Idi Amin’s, Emperor Bokasa’s and King Mswati’s of Africa. That a man of his stature can go around the country indiscriminately sowing “wild oats” with reckless abandon is an act (s) of gross immorality, irresponsibility and immaturity. It’s like he is currently trying to live out his childhood fantasies! As a seasoned serial adulterer Zuma takes the icing off the cake and with his continued trysts is about to gain the dubious distinction of being the worst role model on the continent! And all this is happening when Africa is in the vice grip of an aids pandemic.

Why doesn’t Zuma look around him and smell the coffee! The iconic Nelson Mandela sits right next to him in Cape Town and is one of the best role models on earth. Across the Atlantic sits President Barrack Obama a committed family man who is currently one of the Worlds most respected role models. Both these men are decent enough not to dishonestly hide behind the cloak of culture or local custom. How is it that custom for Zuma and like minded African males is static whilst it is dynamic and constantly changing& adapting for others? This dishonesty is in itself a form of impunity and has played a major role in the stereo-typing of the expected behavior of the African male persona. Its high time Zuma accepted that he is a *** addict and thereafter seeks help like our fallen brother Tiger Woods who recently “fell off the wagon” and is now mercifully and thankfully in rehabilitation. Jacob Zuma is a disgrace to the male gender and if his escapades are not somehow curtailed he will make the African male the laughing stock of the international community.

The fact that we have a man leading a nation that is always busy with his sexual desire tell me that he has nothing else to think about except himself and the realise of his mshini. we need a leader that can be relied upon, the one we know does not just always think of sleeping with one of his friend child when talking business or networking.

Just let sleeping dogs relax guys. This issue has dragged longer than it was necessary i belive. What president Zuma did was wrong and he acknowledged it subsequently apologised for his actions. Whether the South African public forgave him or not it’s just a tissue. Fact is he is stil in office. i personally hope that he learned a lesson from this ****** situation he put himself n ANC in. Lest we forget that this same Zuma is apologising to the SA public for the 3rd time.

10 February 2010

Toyi

It is really disturbing to hear that there are people who still defend what the supposedly President is doing. This guy, as the leader of the government including the HIV/ AIDS campaign, should know better. I support the motion of no confidence in this man. We have too many things to worry about in the country including HIV/AIDS (Zuma is yet to hear his voice when he says abstain, be faithful, use a condom), poverty (Zuma promised 500k decent jobs, but failed dismally) and crime (His cronies Cele Mbalula and Mthethwa have given a right to the police, just like the apartheit regime, to kill fellow citizens – 4getting about “innocent till proven guilty” policy).

Zuma, as the head of the state, should be leading by example and obeying governments policies….including the HIV/ AIDS policy. As the representative of the SA citizens, I dont feel he represents me or rather the true sain and chritian citizens. As a country we are fighting a pandemic in HIV/AIDS. We, as patriotic citizens, have a dream of living in an HIV/AIDS free country. Moreover and rightfully so, our government, for which Zuma is the leader, has put in place some recommendative policies. One of the struggle heros, Madma Ghandi, once said “be the change you want to see in the world”. I reckon that these are words we need to leave by. The way to the right direction is as per the HIV/AIDS campaign. If we want to achieve that change we, as the citizens especially the head of state (who unfortunately happens to be the disgracingly champion of polygamy and adulter), should be walking the talk and simultaneously being the change we always dream of. In conclusion, according to Ghandi, Zuma is not a patriot enough to live the life he wishes (or at least “should wish” as the president) all citizens to live.

Coming to the use of culture to substantiate for Zuma’s ill behavior, no tribe or culture supports adultry (not polygamy). It is something that our forefathers stole and when they were caught they were brought to book. I reckon this is what COPE (not Mbazima alone, as he said “we” refering to Cope) is trying to do. Take responsibility for your actions. This is not about Mbazima. One more thing, we should try to understand the meaning of “Intlawulo”. Zuma has wronged the Khoza family hence he paid “Intawulo”/ “penalty”/ damages (though in my culture, Xhosa, I never heard anyone paying damages for the damaged – she has 2 kids already and for heavens sake she is uNtombifuthi – probably adultry was the reason she got kicked out of her previous home). So do we make mistakes intentionally? Do we make the same mistakes so many times because we have money to pay for the damages? I conclude……… according to African culture it is wrong to have to pay for damages (intlawulo); hence it is called Intlawulo (penalty).

I will never sacrifice my principles just to defend a compulsive adulter. I reckon that within ANC there are principled ppl but they are scared to blow the whistle against Zuma lest they dont get backup and subsquently loose their positions.

Zuma is not a civillian, he’s the President of South Africa therefore he should behave like the President. We are not looking for a friend from him, we are desperately looking for the Presidentt.
Zuma is treated like the President by the state therefore we as the people deserve a President, not a man who behaves like a 28 year old and everybody who says his private life is private are looking for a drinking buddy in our President, they think they can relate their lives with Zuma’s, tell you what! guys, you are not of the same callibre with our President, we couldn’t care less what you do with your private lives so do not ever again compare yourselves with the President, he’s above you, he’s the representative of this country and to be utterly honest, “a mechanic who does not want any contact with greasy used oil, shouldn’t have became one”, “a priest who doesn’t want to serve and live for God, shouldn’t have became one”,” A President who doesn’t want to lead by example, live rightiously for the sake of self respect and the respect of the people shouldn’t have became one”,” A President who’s standard of living is to compared to an ordinary civillian working a 9 to 5 job, shouldn’t have became one”. South Africa needs a President. Zuma should man up and become the President we deserve.

I think the universities and colleges that offers media studies should seat down an think carefully about there presentation of media practices,Media ppl r now losing focuse of ther duty.I thought media is there for keeping pple up to date with what is heppening around the world. But it seems I misunderstood, the south African media has become an “sub marrine” of other political parties to destroy J Z scilently.South africa, pls rase call for proper media studies. For now I put blame to Institutions that give media studies. If thats not true S.A media pls do what u have been tought and respect the south African nation.
