Contrast Leleti Khumalo’s comments to Terry Pheto’s. I knew that Terry was too pretty to have a brain as well. Wake up girl! If you never take a stand,you will never get a chance to play anyone half as influencial as Winnie. The parts will always be given to some American, because they can bring in the cash. If a story is well told, surely there’s no need for gimmicks? Why don’t we find Atholl Fugard and ask him how he was able to take John Kani and Winston Ntshona to play to packed threaters around the world?
