Cape Town readies for a party
The streets have been swept, the lights are all functional, signage is visible, and blustery wind aside, visitors have arrived to a beautiful Cape Town for the Fifa World Cup Final Draw to be held at the International Convention Centre, Friday. Report by Andile Ndlovu

Dear bloggers,
Many South African wish to attract the worlds attention to this 2010 event for different reasons. Not as entertainment for what it is designed but to accuse the anc one party state for their lack of GOOD GOVERNANCE.
Concerning the bomb scare from yesterday:
When giving points, I think that pws80 and stargazer are scoring the highest in their conclusion of a testing field.
In being concerned, I join the bloodbath opinion of friend Lipstick.
And with regard to Times info and being open for public debates I bet that freedom of expression in this anc one party state is coming to an end. Yes still tolerated because of their need for information. But as soon the zoomas, celes together with mtethwas, sheiks and the rest of the criminals get serious fear of getting their comfortable chairs overthrown, our free talks will be reduced to jail sighs.
Some very recent history.
The anc got into power by climbing the stage and showing, rightfully, the WORLD how the South African citizens were suffering.
This is not the same anc. How the present majority of anc leaders impoverish the populace is already discussed and proved substantially.
A vast majority of South Africans are sick and tired of the present situation. These same people have learned from the previous apartheid government that within the country and without the support from ABROAD, one cannot make progress for a proper democracy.
The attention and influence from outside has to be caught even by explosions in churches, restaurants of wherever.
The foreign media has to be engaged so foreign countries with interests in SA can act without being criticized by the rest of the free world: sanctions!
I have the very strong feeling that the fall of apartheid is repeating but this time it will be more severe as the thirst for blood from this anc regime is so much higher as this of the old apartheid promoters. These people were still reading bibles. The present blokes are dancing with machineguns.
But I hope that I am just an old preacher of doom and that the tomorrows sun will still rise on the East and shine over a beautiful, healthy and prosperous South Africa. My beloved Land.
However, be warned and prepared.
