A 21 year old man drowned in Homestead, Brixton. This incident happened after he dived into the Blue Dam to retrieve a soccer ball. A group of young men were playing soccer in the park and had asked for volunteers to fetch their ball at a R30 fee. The search for Isaac Lako Lefosa’s body lasted five hours.
