Egypt clinched the 2009 Men’s World Team Squash Championships when they beat the French team in front of a packed Odense Sports Arena in Denmark. Australia got the better of a depleted England team to capture the bronze medal. South Africa succumbed to a resilient Pakistani team who took sweet revenge for their earlier defeat to the South African team, who finished the week in a credible 6th position, having entered the championships seeded 11th.
