A new comedy.
Boris, an eccentric New Yorker, has abandoned his upper-class life to lead a more bohemian existence, when he finds a 20-something runaway asleep on his doorstep. He takes her in in an uncharacteristic burst of philanthropic goodwill.
He soon finds that, while this Mississippie Southern belle promises the chance of a more carefree life, life for her among the nonconformists isn’t quite as easy as he’d envisioned it to be, especially when he meets her Southern parents. In the romantic entanglements that follow, Boris discovers that finding love is just a combination of lucky chance and appreciating the value of whatever works.
