@ Phil Baker. I am in Libya for the past 2 1/2 years. With the direct flight that started in Sept 09 it is not that expensive any more. Some hotels are very expensive but if you know where to go you will find accommodation here that is much cheaper than Europe. Beautiful place to visit but bit of a culture shock to SAfricans
