Eight of the nine 2010 Soccer World Cup arenas will be handed over by contractors on Friday. The Green Point Stadium in Cape Town will be handed over in December after the start of work was delayed by a legal tussel. The handover means that preparation for the football’s greatest showcase is on track – defying doomsayers who predicted that South Africa was not capable of hosting the spectacle
