A Malawian judge held a closed-door hearing on Madonna’s application to adopt a second child from the southern African nation but delayed ruling on the matter until Friday, a court official said. A court docket listed only the child’s name – Chifundo James, which means “Mercy” in the local language. Madonna hopes to take the toddler home with her by the end of the week.

Can the world pass judgement on a subject being discussed on nothing but speculations. As long as we do not know what is on Madge’s heart, can a conclusion be drawn on why she has decided to adopt. If we are all so mecriful and for the preservation of cultural and moral values of the African child, why don’t we then as Africans adopt them all and save their poor souls?

well its just not possible for Madonna to be at the “mercy” of some judge in a poverty riddled country, its her choice to go try adopt in Malawi, if she feels the process is frustrating she can always go elsewhere to achieve same goal, only sad thing in all this power play the orphans will lose out!!
