Human Rights Lawyers are concerned about the government’s decision to stop allowing Zimbabweans staying in the country temporarily without proper papers. The government claims that stability has returned to Zimbabwe. We spoke to Kaajal Ramjathan- Keogh about the government’s proposal and its impact on Zimbabweans nationals in South Africa. Home Affairs has since set to meet with NGOs to discuss their plan and deadline for Zimbabweans.
