ANC wants option to punish newspapers
ANC spokesperson Jackson Mthembu says the current self-regulatory system including the Press Ombudsman doesn’t allow for punitive measures to be taken against newspapers or journalists if they defame anyone.

Like i’ve said on another blog, the monkeys don’t like it when we watch them and they get caught stealing, hence the attempt to control the media.
