Inside Malema’s party
Times LIVE has an exclusive 13-minute audio clip from the ANC Youth League president Julius Malema’s lavish birthday bash in Polokwane. During the party, Malema evoked the spirit of the late ANC Youth League president Peter Mokaba, by singing the controversial freedom song “Dubula ibhunu” (which translated from the isiZulu means “shoot the boer”).

Ja… and in your mind the only way to get rich white-man things is to steal and plunder from the white man. Why don’t you thugs go and do an honest days work for a change and stop plotting each day to steal and kill? You guys started hate speech now you got it. Down with Malema. Down with ANC and the rest of you!

It’s the guy’s birthday for flippin sakes…..let him say whatever he feels like. lekker sloshed neh Juju
Andrew
@Spikiri … its my birthday tomorrow. According to your rules I can now sing songs
about Hendrik Verwoed and Pick Botha killing blacks while waving the old south african flag.
Fortunately I’m not a racist so I wont be doing any of that.
On the other hand, I cant say the same for you or Vuvuzela Malema.
TAx
@Andrew, you can sing whatever you like, wave the old SA flag until de la rey comes home….I don’t think anybody would be bothered buddy, your neighbours might disapprove, but the rest of us…would probably just chuckle at your foolishness, that’s if we even got to hear about it…the name Andrew isn’t headline making stuff yanno.

Malema and Mokaba…both racists. Mandela must be so disappointed with the conduct of his youth. Mandela is a man. Not these pathetic slugs.
ThinkTWICE
What type of country are we creating if our ‘leaders’ encourage farm attacks (’shoot the boer’)?
Chain Gun
Once again this shows that the ANC is nothing more than a corupt, black racist orginisation.
They are what they claim to be fighting against.

Melanin “delaray” was a song about crime and a decay of morals.
This is a song encouraging people to kill whites.
You must be really blind if you cant or refuse to see the differance

ANCYL PRESIDENT IS DOING WHAT HE CAN TO REMEMBER OUR HEROS AND THOSE SONGS ARE THE ONE TO SHOW WHERE WE COME FROM AS THE SOUTH AFRICAN,
Theo
It is good to remember the past, the heroes of the past – the good and the bad. I believe we have to acknowledge history. That is why the name Pretoria must not be changed; streets and places named HF Verwoerd should remain named after this former Prime Minister who contributed to our history; etc.
But we have to be responsible and start living in the present. The ANCYL is focussing on solving the problems of the past, not the current!!! We have many challenges in this country – we really can not afford these rascist style of leadership.
Apartheid is over!!! Has been for long!!! Start realizing that the liberation movement is now Afrikaner organizations not the ANC or ANCYL!
nev
Remember your heroes? All he is doing is looting this country and pretending to stand up for the black masses, Shame! You’ve all been fooled in the ANC YL. Malema is just lining his pockets while telling you how great he thinks he is! And also trying to gain support by getting you all fired up against us whites. Shame. Think boys! Think Bafana! Seems you will always just be bafanas.
Chain Gun
It is amazing how you guys can try and justify this with such a straight face.
There must be one set of rules for every one.
Panther
This was Malema’s private party , Malema didn’t invent this song. He didnt invite the Media so they could capture him singing this. It was a tribute to Peter Mokaba and our fallen heroes. We’ll never forget our history, we’ll never smudge our identity. Nobody said people must be killed a struggle song is just being sung, you liberals just want us to erase everything and live by your guidelines. AMANDLA
Andrew
I didn’t ‘invent apartheid’, yet I (and many other white south africans who didnt ‘invent’ apartheid) get blamed for it on a daily basis. We dont want you to live by our guidlelines, but it would be hell of a nice if your leaders stopped singing songs about shooting us.

Truly speaking if they need you they will always after you even okaya mophasong

Just a question…
At what age does one cease being a youth? And just how old is this box now???
Andrew
Fortunately for Juju, the ANCYL criteria for a youth are not based in age. According to them, anyone with an IQ less than 35 qualifies so theoretically Juju can stay president forever.
vado
I am deeply disturbed by the loyalty we tend to throw behind our leaders even though they are wrong..the song he sung is honestly out of tune just like someone waving the old SA flag would be..where is the ANC that Mandela and Mbeki led..sad people died for the liberation of our country but all seems in vain..Biko,Hani and lots more must be looking down at us and shaking their head in shame..this is surely not the liberation they fought for..
aquinas
I can only applaud these comments.
Marie Antoinette said about the poor, “Give them cake.”
Malema says, “Give them slices of dry bread, we’ll consume the cake and champagne!”
Maybe we should change his name to “Marie Antoinette” Malema in memory of that headless heroine of the masses!
Piel Kop
May you go the same way as Mokaba you beauty.

Did JZ say ppl must go out there nd kill our ppl when he sang uMshini wam?The answer is no.Because u hate this young boy so u r always after his head nd u will never get it.U say he is a monkey nd must go down nd painfully, what do call that? The poor boy was just singing a struggle song,he never said ppl pls go out there nd kill the white ppl.He said it many times that he doesn’t hate white ppl coz they r our ppl nd they’ve contributed 2wards the reconstruction of our country. So the this boy alone.

What kind of speech is that?
Did he run out of things to say that he had to say them 45 times???

Wow. White people are so angry and bitter. With such attitudes, how do you expect your party (DA/FF+) to win an election? Remember, this is Africa, which means to win an election, you need to convince most black people. How can you do that when you remind us on a daily basis how much you hate us? Really guys, think about it.

With malema you and the ANC around its so easy to hate you…its why we had apartheid in the first place. It proves just what a great system it was!

Hey drol ! Don’t reprimand Koos because you to chicken-sh*t to respond to a threat of violence from these monkeys. The reason we at this point in history is precisely because of boneheads like you and your sort who are cowards to stand up for their rights and for their people. Like Koos, if any monkey threatens me or attempts any violence, I will respond with extreme retaliation of the deadly kind. In fact, you the vark here, a chicken-sh*t vark with no backbone. Now shut up.

Hey Paulus Its the ANC who started the hate speech, they have chosen the path of attack. Its time Afrikaners stood up for themselves in SA. They have stood by long enough and taken enough **** during the past 16 years. Well done to Steve Hofmeyr and all the others on this page who are Afrikaners and who say enough is enough. There is nothing more pathetic than silence when your entire race is threatened. Are you always going to feel guilty Paulus. Stand up for your volk and country! Its time!

Most black people if not all of them like throwing parties, It’s a black thing, my baby girl is turning one soon and I’ve budgeted for booze as well whereas she as well as other children that will be invited do not drink but that is how we do it, if there is anyone who do not approve he or she is more than welcome to shipout period
RealisticK
I like Koos because of his honesty, most (not all) of the whites are now act as if they care while they don’t e.g DA leaders please stop pretending that you care meanwhile you just have a personal agenda against the ANC… So Koos is not a pretender hence he’s showing of his stupidity that our ANC leaders are tried to demolish.. if it’s my B’day party I’m a black millionaire i can afford to invite the whole township I will, and Koos’s heart will be sore and he’ll start to investigate wisely earned money!

I thought some people would be wise enough to learn one thing or two from Zimbabwe, we all need to learn from others, there is no need whatsoever that we have to go through the same mistake as fools do. There are a couple of some white nice people out there and again there are those who are hellbent to spoil everything. we need to accept each other definately not tolerate as some of us are not going anywhere unfortunately

Like every other human being, we are all prone to err. He is not any different. When singing that song, i don’t think he sang it with the intention to offend or insult anyone. Call it hate speech, racist or whatever. They should have not treanslated the song period.. Hence there’s so much emotion attached to it already!!! Unfortunately those are the original lyrics to that song and anyone who feels they need to change it, needs to buy rights to the song, otherwise you will be charged with plagiarism. Him singing that song is not condoned nor do i condemn it…
They must leave comrade Malema alone, he is just a young man trying to make that money….
Sue Kruger
It is against some law that an Afrikaaner has an old SA flag on her desk in the train station, but it is not against the law for an uneducated idiot to call publically for genocide.Dont get me wrong, I hate the old Sa flag and I am an English liberal South African, but something is wrong with this all.Somebody somewhere has to take drastic action or something has got to give.Someone has to go to the International media as whites are sitting ducks waiting for Rwanda to happen down South. It will be catastrophic but it could be reality if someone does not tale this nincompoop seriously and stop him.

Malema and the ANC are thugs who are looting this country. They are about as democratic as Mugabe or Amin or even worse. Down with Maleka Down with Blacks Down with the ANC

Malema is an embarassment to our country and to our struggle hero’s.Zuma does not reprimand this arrogant upstart that, who does not even know the meaning of the struggle for liberation. The only struggle he experienced is the one in the toilet- when he was constipated. This is an indication of the sh** that he is still accumulating. He has no positive comment or criticism about anything besides his supposedly arrogant claims. What beats me is that the other “educated ANC” bigwigs condoning his actions by remaining quiet. The masses will hopefully stop following him and the ANC blindly, without holding their promises to account. They cannot be gullible all the time.”You can fool all of the people some of the time, but not all the people all the time”So,MALEMA and YOUR FELLOW COHORTS,BEWARE,YOUR TIME IS NIGH”But this is a vicious circle, the dream of “Free”education as per the 1994 election promise is a DREAM,and our masses can easily be lead astray by unscrupulous, corrupt and shameless politicians.GOD help our beloved country.

Regardless of who i nvented apartheid – it was enforced over and over by the Afrikaans leaders… the whites that calim that they had nothing to do with apartheid now – where were they when they benefited from it??? I hear it so often that whities will say they had “nothing to do with it” – and yet they benefited from tight security as the police forces were concetrated in their areas and transportation ensuring that whilst their leafders were provoking innocentg black children and women… – they made sure that their own women and children were safe. Every single white person who lived at that time benefited – whether they agreed with the system of the time or not.
The Indians tried very hard to benefit by offering their soldiers to the Brits… to kill the blacks even then – but their colour disqualified them! Read Gandhi’s history carefully and you might just be shocked.
I could say a lot about other groups as well…
And now the whites complain non-stop about the crime in the country – guess what: we’re sharing the police force now and seemingly the resources are few…
The Indians are still trying to be better off in the offices than blacks…
And the blacks just won’t move on!
In all these events… everyone else has another country (or continent) to relocate to as an option, except the blacks… Hence they can’t understand the idea of “why come to may house; steal my land; enforce your rules; rape our women and neglect the offspring; treat me worse than the dog… I eventually propose that we live peacefully together – and then try to run the country according to your western precipts… and then when I don’t get it right the first time – you criticize and hate me? If you don’t like it here, how come you cannot go home wherever you came from?”
Not everything is perfect in SA… the leaders certainly have had their challenges. But I plead with the white community to look at the overall deal: what if the ANC would have said let’s go to war for the country… think about it! Instead, the peace route was offered – even when the whites killed Chris Hani – the peace route was forced by the ANC leaders.
Why can’t the Afrikaaners leaders promote peace from their side as well?
The farmworkers have been abused for too long beyond 1994 – they could have been any colour – they would eventually have snapped and retaliated somehow.
The next time you say you had nothing to do with aprtheid… just imagine a black professional telling you that “I’m not benefitting from AA, EE, BBB-EE etc.” – trust me, if you’re white – you would be irritated cause you’d know what it feels like not to benefit…
With all that said… we’ve all hurt each other one or the other – NO ONE IS INNOCENT: Black or white or any other colour whatsoever… We have one thing in common: we’re all here because we like it here – no one is forced to stay in SA – the borders are open.
Since we’re all not going anywhere: can we learn to live together for goodness’ sake? Yes we’re different and we don’t have to be alike either… but can we at least learn to live together: MOVE FORWARD! We cannot afford to go back!
All the politicians of the past did what they did in their time as per their understanding… the wisdom of any country improves with time – let’s embrace the lessons and live together regardless of colour! There are no “people monkeys” in this country… and the boers are people too… the Indians are people too… we cannot pretend we have not learned from the past – that is foolishness in us all… let’s move forward and build the country TOGETHER!
REALITY
Bla bla bla horse-s&*t !. I couldn’t give a d#mn about the past. I look what’s happening now. It’s very simple to me. What do you call a “thing” that rapes a defenceless 6 month old baby. What do you call a “thing” that tortures a defenceless dog or cat or any other animal that was put on this earth for man to cherish. What do you call a “thing” that attacks in gangs and breaks into law abiding citizen’s homes, kills and tortures the male and then gang-rapes the women, 10 year old girls, teenagers and old people. What do you call a “thing” that threatens openly to come in gangs and forcefully remove people from their land that they legally bought. That “thing” is a BLACK SAVAGE. I don’t read of whites or indians doing this barbaric s#@t. The black is a MONKEY, pure and simple. When I look at a black, all I see is a SAVAGE MONKEY. Don’t come write your cr&p here.!!!!!!
