The Kaal River is making headlines again as a frantic search for a man who is believed to have drowned on Monday resumed on Tuesday. The river became notorious after 33-year-old Shadi Kgaladi and her three-year-old niece were swept into a storm water drain on New-Year’s eve in 2008.
