I would like to differ with some of the opposition parties in the political spectrum of the South African politics, who says the aapointment of Police Commissioner Cele is a political reward from President Zuma and further says a Police Commissioner should be someone within the ranks of SAPS. My view is that a Police Commissioner should be a party person because that office is required to implement programmes that informed by policies of the Party leading Government and with crime being a sensetive issue in our country it does not need a beraucrat at the helm but a person who understand how policies on fighting crime came about in the elected party, Executive and in the Legislature and/or Parliament.

well, am just a young man who happens to be conscious of whats happening around him, and has far as Cele being the commisioner, i still remain to be exposed to his abilities of being professional in handling the discription to his post and complementing his merits with some genius strategic idea that will fall into plan. as opposed to showing us his seemingly natural flair of being the lion amongst the humble.
