minister safety is important just like the miner who desrves safety when he goes underground for mining. politics over transportation of ministries should not make politics at all.but lets talk about the underspending of govermentr departments as an issues.american secretaries they more save transport than our ministers.otherwise who will expose his to carnage and unsave working enviroments with toyata corollas in that level of goverments office.

I have had the opportunity to read George Owell’s Animal Farm ampteenth times and have learned one thing: Ideaological confusion! The fruit of liberty is suppossed to be shared by all, but it looks like some of us are taking everything just to let them rot while others do know the taste, let alone the smell. Revolution is part of human nature, and it’s certain. poverty strengthens the spirit of the poor and wealth weakens the soul of the rich. To justify extreme wealth is much the same as justifying extreme poverty since the two are natural twins. Peter Tosh said, ‘a rich man’s heaven is a poor man’s hell’, Whether revolutionary or appressor, it does not matter!. The logic is simple, we all look at the poor through our ‘glasshouses’. Who cares!!!

@Papa it always amazes me how the post 1994 govt uses the apartheid govt actions to justify its actions… two wrongs do not make a right! S Papa everytime you find yourself falling into that trap then ask yourself what is freedom really? The liberation struggle was about freeing and uplifting the poor masses of SA yet those very people are still suffering unless you haven’t seen the service dlivery protests yet your sacred minister can splash out on 2 x cars to save BMW hahaha pls man then maybe he should rather have bought 10 cars @R250k instead kept two and donated 8 to charity because then my tax money is at least helping someone!

What are lot whinging about? You voted the regime into power. In about 20 years the masses will learn that blind loyalty just doesn’t work [that's doesn't include the past 15 years of ANC arrogance & inner circle self enrichment]. So be patient, vote ANC for the next 4 elections & then watch the penny drop & the blinkers lift. In the interim, zip it & enjoy the fruits of your votes.

I think PAPA smoked something before writing his article.
Clear lyhe does not mind the abuse of the money he pays for tax or maybe he doesn’t pay any tax that he condones such lavish spending.
I don’t know which high rise Sandton apartment he is living in but people are suffering and that R2 Mil will make a difference to thousands of children that need it more than a minister driving in a fancy BMW oh sorry 2 BMW’s .

Come to the townships my brother then you ccan explain to kids why they can’t have a bowl of porridge or a sandwich for lunch because our minister has decided to spend it on buy to BMW’s
