Gunfree South Africa the merchants of death with the blood of victims soaking their hands are still spreading their lies.

There is no government on this earth that has managed to take guns from criminals by any gun control means thus far thought of. Bans break the first rule of economics and have proved a spectacular failure. All other interventions are oppressive of the law-abiding citizens of the country and have no effect in reducing crime or the supply of guns to criminals. Every study done has found this.

Every self-defence study done in the USA (23) of them has found a benefit of being armed. The only point of argument is how great that benefit is. GFSA lies and lies as the study they are quoting is of police dockets. The majority of successful defenses are not reported. GFSA knows this because Adele Kirsten attended the presentation of Altbekers study and he specifically stated that the results could not be generalized. GFSA are lying to the public as are the government and the SAPS. Why? Because they want those guns and don’t care how many are killed or injured to get them. That is why the Firearms Control Act was written in secret with the collusion of the Gun Control Alliance.

Despicable evil lying people who would not see the truth if it bit them on the rear end. The SAPS may want to answer why they are harassing law abiding citizens when thousands of criminals run around free to rape and kill because they are so incompetent and can’t catch them. Why they think chasing guns is better than chasing criminals.

You know, it’d be nice if, for once, gun control advocates would tell the truth. “We *feel* unsafe, therefore gun owners must *be* unsafe.”

There is no basis in reality for asserting that trying to prevent the law-abiding from having firearms has any effect on firearms in criminal hands. Mrs Crowsleys primary problem with firearms being that her brother and son were apparently killed in a firearm-related incident, it goes without saying that perhaps her motives for the general public being rendered defenseless are extremely questionable. Not just in the RSA, but nations the world-over are beginning to put in place similar and more rigorous gun control legislation (with lobbyists having a *** old time protesting for a gun free society) – after all, we all want to co-exist in a violence free world. However, liberalist thinking stops short of realizing that firstly, the criminal element must be eradicated or at least be contained for this utopia to realize. A humane society hell-bent on human rights is in fact taking away your most basic human right – protecting one’s life and one’s own (in my opinion every living thing on this planet is privileged to this right).
A government should only tinker with gun control laws once it has established beyond a doubt that it can serve and protect competently (via SAPS and others). Political ideology has always had a nasty tendency to destabilize the very fabric of a society – this inevitability is on our doorstep and we must fight it for the sake of our children’s children.
Our oxygen supply shall not be cut-off by a tyranny of tolerance.

The point of such articles “Cynical” is to highlight the fact that under such circumstances ‘confrontational” crime is always drastically reduced – criminals mainly want your goods and money – they do not seek to engage in a fight – especially one they may not win!

Our government seeks to ensure that criminals, who are invariably armed, can always win – without a meaningful fight!

Hi all – Pam you should really think about what you are saying. You are telling us that despite living in a society where criminals reign free and do what they want, we the public are not allowed to defend ourselves? They will be armed and dangerous and we will be sitting ducks just waiting to hi-jacked! I wonder have you ever been hi-jacked? do you know what its like to have a gun stuck in your face? i don’t think so, or you wouldn’t be so single minded. I don’t disagree that SA should have regulation on guns, but not to the extent where gun owners are now criminals. This is not justice, this is yet another way of the South African government to get their hands on more of OUR (salary earning citizens, those with enough money to buy a gun license) hard earned money, and not to bother the OTHERS (unemployed and criminals who can’t afford gun licenses.)

So the SA government don’t want to bother those in this country who steal, kill and rape with guns, but they instead want to pick on those brave people who decide to defend themselves against the criminals of this country.
