What next? Opposition parties speak out
The NEC’s decision to recall Thabo Mbeki from office has caused a stir among opposition parties. Listen to what the what representatives Independent Democrats, the Inkhata Freedom Party, the Democratic Alliance and the United Democratic Movement think about the move and what they expect in the coming days.

I can understand Zille. Her head is spinning. Early this year she said that ANC must relieve Thabo Mbeki off his duties;
BUT now she has changed the tune, wanting Mbeki to be given a chance to finish her term.
What kind of nonsense is that?
As for the UDM leader, the less said about him the better!
The man hates Jacob Zuma PASSIONATELY!
Since the arms-deal case surfaced, I have listened to his comments attentively and ,yeah, he would rather prefer to be lead by any other ANC Leader of another racial group than a Zulu!
I will not be suprised to see the ID President joining the ANC once this ordeal has passed.
The IFP, IFP, IFP what can I say?
Where wind blows they will go along with it!
Whichever direction the wind blows them to, they will allow it…

Opposition parties in South Africa have found it difficult to come up with policies that the masses cannot resist. This is because the ANC is not leaving much space in the policy arena that the opposition parties can use. Regardless many political parties have, over the years, tried to come up with this or that policy or plan. ID leader, Patricia De Lille recently produced a 10 point plan.
Patricia De Lille’s 10 point ideas to remake South Africa only serves to reveal the story of a pain-filled life that has come to define her political life. I really will recommend that she consider taking up the services of Mr. Ludwig Minelli’s Dignitas in Switzerland, Tshepo Masethe.

Helen ‘Mama Jack’ Zille is trying too hard to be accepted in homes of those in the townships and their backyards, in the hostels, squatter camps, former homelands and everywhere we were zoned to live. And at every turn, the DA was grossly rejected by black voters. You’ll think that the message is clearer with every failed attempt, yet Mama Jack wobbles on. Good for her if she can live until the 105th elections in 2099, perhaps then she will be a bit content with her one-fourth share of the votes. Tshepo Masethe.
